Profile: Dinagat Dpp

Photo of the the newly built Dinagat DPP located at barangay Wilson in San Jose, Dinagat. It houses the two (2) MAN 500 kw medium speed diesel fired engine. The old generating units from the old powerhouse will be detached from the old PH in Brgy Ruben and soon to be transferred at the new building, numbering 11 units total. The total plants capacity now stands at 3.8 MW and peak demand at 1.2 Mw operating for 24 hours. The power plant building was constructed by administration (NPC) at the cost of P 12 Million. In it are housed two new MAN genset with a manufacturers rating of 500 kw each. Complete turn-over of the facilities was made last_______ 2011 by joint NPC and contractor in the site witnessed by plants crew, visitors and official of the municipality of San Jose, Dinagat prominent of whom are the Ecleos.

The
